Forbes to Corporate America: Create the Next Ralph Nader!

Forbes Magazine has some advice for corporations dealing with blogger criticism: "If you get attacked, dig up dirt on your assailant and feed it to sympathetic bloggers. Discredit him."

Brilliant.

I hope corporations start doing this. It could really help jump start my career.

There are two reasons this is dumb.

The first is civil suits.

The second is that if you start attacking a blogger, you're only likely to raise the blogger's profile.

That said, if Wal-Mart wants to start a campaign to discredit me, I'm game. I don't care what I've done in the past. There's no way my rap sheet comes close to theirs.
