In Ohio, Hackett or Brown?
In recent days, Democrats in Ohio have gone from having no one to run against Sen. Mike DeWine (R) to potentially having two top candidates run against each other in the primary for the chance to face the weakened incumbent. One is Iraq War veteran Paul Hackett (D), the other is populist Congressman Sherrod Brown (D). What would be the best outcome from this situation for progressives in terms of winning the most congressional seats possible? Read my new article in the American Prospect that answers that question.
