Wellstone's Life as a Passionate Progressive

Paul Wellstone, pictured in the Washington Post at right, was one of the true progressive champions of the modern era. I had the honor of working closely with both Wellstone himself and his staff while on Capitol Hill, and there was never a more committed, idealistic and effective group of people standing up for ordinary Americans than them. For this and so many other reasons, it was a true tragedy when Paul and Sheila died - but they left a legacy that we can all learn from. There's a new book out about his life by Bill Lofy.
