What Should Progressives Demand of Candidates?

As regular readers of this site may know, I've been trying to do some thinking and writing about where the broad progressive movement is headed, and what challenges it faces heading into the 2006 election, and well beyond. I've done some more writing on that subject today - check it out and let me know your thoughts. Just remember, before you get mad or freak out - we're all on the same team, and (at least in my opinion) it's healthy/constructive to consider these issues as our movement progresses and grows. This isn't about one candidate, or one race - it is about a broader movement.
