Stop Pombo's Corporate Land Grab

As you can see from this picture (click it to enlarge), last weekend my wife and I went snowshoeing in Yellowstone National Park. It was a great time, and we even got to see some elk. Just being in that wonderful setting reminded us of what a travesty it would be for right-wing extremists in Congress to do anything that would threaten such a national treasure. Sadly, Rep. Richard Pombo (R-CA) is pushing a bill that could open up land surrounding the park to major private development.

he bill is a gross giveaway to private development companies - which is why Western governors and many in Congress are trying to stop it. Get in touch with your Member of Congress and tell them to oppose Pombo's move.
