Doherty/Podesta Land PLAN Op-Ed on Lobbying/Ethics

Last week, the Progressive Legislative Action Network (PLAN) landed an op-ed in the Baltimore Sun about the need to force large, highly-profitable corporations to start doing a better job of making sure their workers receive minimum health care benefits. This week, PLAN landed an op-ed in Knight Ridder newspapers, which is syndicating an op-ed by PLAN founding board members Steve Doherty and John Podesta about the need for states to pass a slate of ethics/lobbying/campaign finance reforms.

Doherty is the co-chair of PLAN, the former Montana Senate Minority Leader, and the current chairman of the Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks Commission. Podesta is a PLAN board member, and the president of the Center for American Progress. Check out their piece - it hits pretty hard.
