Another Poll Shows Americans Want Out of Iraq

Editor and Publisher notes the media disconnect on Iraq, after the latest CNN/USA Today Gallup poll was released. While Americans overwhelmingly support an exit strategy, no one in the media or the political Establishment is talking about that commonsense policy.

Here is the excerpt:

"While newspaper editorials remain virtually silent on the subject, the American public seems to have made up its mind. A new Gallup/CNN/USA Today poll out tonight shows that 2 out of 3 adult Americans now want U.S. troops to start to come home from Iraq. And 55% call the decision to attack Iraq in 2003 a 'mistake.'"

Remember, this comes on top of another recent poll showing the majority of troops want a change in policy. But again, that sentiment is simply not being reflected in America's political debate.
